Advent is home to many families seeking to experience and live out God’s love, be part of an inclusive faith community, and make a positive impact in the world.
We have a “Prayground” for kids during worship, Sunday School programs for different ages, social gatherings, service opportunities, and more for kids and families. The youth are also welcome & invited to light candles before worship, help carry the cross, read scripture during the service, and more!

Advent Kids in Online Worship
Children are encouraged to participate in online worship on Sundays. We always have a special message just for kids.
Advent Kids in-person for Worship
Children are encouraged to participate in worship in a variety of ways! We have a Prayground with a coloring station and books for kids to stay engaged during worship. Our kids also help read scripture, collect offering, and dismiss people for communion. During the Gospel lesson, we always have a special message just for kids.
Jesus says, “Let the children come to me, and do not stop them, for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” (Matthew 19:14) Protection of children and all those who are most vulnerable is directly in line with God’s vision and the heart of Jesus’ ministry. We strive to faithfully follow in his footsteps.
