4 ways you can help now
Contribute to the Kitchen Renovations
In 2024, the call went out to the New York City community. The kitchen at the Advent Food Ministry, which houses both the Food Pantry and Community Lunch teams, was barely holding on. The ministry needed help. As always, NYC delivered.
Thanks to overwhelming community support, Advent has raised $130,000 toward its major kitchen renovation, just shy of the projected $160,000 needed to complete the project.
We invite you to help make this possible by donating today!
In 2023, Advent distributed 530,000+ meals to the community! A 16.7% increase from 2022 and a 1009% increase from 2019! And there is no way we could have done that without your support!
Volunteer @ the Food Pantry
The Food pantry meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. Volunteers will unpack pallets, pack bags, and give out groceries with a smile. Plus, we have a great time!
