Thank You from Pastor Gary

Dear Friends in Christ,

How blessed we are with such a wonderful congregation and incredible leaders at Advent. That was again driven home to me this past Saturday, June 15 as we celebrated our ministry as a congregation and remembered my upcoming retirement.

I would like to thank everyone who helped plan, participated in, did so much preparation and follow-up work, and all who gathered to worship and fellowship in the name of Jesus Christ. It was such an incredible day that I shall remember it and give thanks for each of you the rest of my life.

Thank you so much for your many kind words of greeting, your cards, well-wishes and gifts. I am truly humbled by these amazing acts of kindness and generosity, and I am deeply honored to have served as your pastor for these past years.

I wish each of you and our beloved congregation of Advent all of God’s richest blessings. The present is amazing; the future of our ministry and mission even more so. There is so much yet to do in the name of Jesus, but God is surely guiding. Blessings to each of you. I shall miss you all very much.
