Not just Bible stories. Youth Night, our gathering for senior high youth, places Lutheran beliefs and practice in the context of urban high school life in a diverse global society–a complex web of different faiths and cultures, modern social justice and moral issues, politics, philosophy, psychology, science, literature, pop culture, education, comedy, music, social media, personal experiences, and world events.

Be genuine. Be challenged. At Youth Night we deal with the tough questions about adolescent faith and life. We believe challenging questions are not deterrents to faith, but rather spark conversation that leads to a deeper and clearer understanding of our faith. We encourage youth to be genuine, and bring their own honest experiences, thoughts, opinions and questions into the conversation.

Make connections. By connecting our faith to the complicated, often overwhelming world around us, we begin to comprehend the breadth and depth of just how awesome and vital God’s message of love for us really is. By connecting our faith with each other, we experience the acceptance, love, and fellowship of God’s church in the midst of regular school life.
