“Summer Suppers” is our new intergenerational, bilingual summer program designed for our diverse congregation and neighborhood. It offers dinner, worship, fun, and Bible Study for children and teens of all ages, and adults in both English and Spanish.
July 12 – August 16, 2017
Here’s what each Wednesday will look like.
From 4:30pm-5:30pm, parents are invited to bring their babies & toddlers to their own special time of playing and learning.
From 3:30pm – 8pm, our Teens in Ministry (TIM) will get to help out at Toddler Time, help cook dinner, plan and perform skits of Bible readings in worship, help teach younger-age classes, and hang out with each other.
From 5:30 to 6:30pm, we’ll all gather for dinner. You are welcome to arrive for dinner at whatever time within the hour that suits your work schedule.
From 6:30pm-6:45pm, we’ll all gather for bilingual worship in English and Spanish. Our worship will include camp-style music, hymns, skits, Bible readings, and Holy Communion.
From 6:45pm-7:30pm, we’ll break into groups for Bible Study, discussion, reflection, and fun. We’ll have adult groups in English and Spanish, and childrens’ groups for every age range.
