About The Advent Mission Fund

The congregation of Advent Lutheran Church approved the Advent Mission Fund in 2009. Initial funding came from a generous bequest from the estate of Jacob Moeller. As the beneficiary of such a generous bequest, Advent established the Advent Mission Fund to provide long-term support of church and community ministries including:

  • spreading the gospel by extending the social mission of the church;
  • providing long-term mission support, and
  • cultivating future generosity.
The first fund distributions were made in 2010. The fund is intended to grow through investments and additional gifts.
